
Our Beginnings
The story of our beginning, is not one of destiny, but one of innovation and self-motivation. Co-founders Matthew Allen and Brandon Marshall, started the Cerberus Craft Distillery with the Dark Door Spirits Brand and one simple goal in mind: to create a damn good product. Marshall and Allen realized they had authentic ideas, and the ability, conviction and means to make those ideas a reality.
The Spirit of IPA was our first spirit to hit the market in the summer of 2016. Later, we soon found our niche which is creating unexpectedly delicious spirits for those who desire something outside the industry norms.

Our Mission
Since its beginning, the world of distilled spirits has often been restricted to the status quo, enforcing industry standards that were developed years ago.
While we will never sacrifice excellence for the sake of something new, we will always continue to challenge ourselves to find excellent new flavors that lead to a wonderfully, unexpected drinking experience.

Matt Allen
I’ve been in the hospitality industry my whole life and that’s given me plenty of amazing opportunities, especially the ability to make a damn good drink. Personally I enjoy the creativity I can have and can utilize in my position. My favorite cocktail is a Whiskey served Neat.

Brandon Marshall
I got my start in the industry as a dishwasher at an all-you-can eat seafood restaurant in my native RI and have been in it ever since. The best part of my position is guiding people on how to taste the flavors in spirits and explain how to identify them. The most rewarding part is when I have some one that says, “oh I get that now!”. I enjoy any well balanced cocktail a skilled bartender makes me.

I started in the service industry as a way of escaping the world of pharmacy. I have always enjoyed the industry because you are consistently learning and facing new challenges. I love that my position allows me to flex my creativity! My favorite cocktail is a Negroni.

Corey Auger
I got my start directly in sales working for a craft brewery managing their New England market. The best part about my position would be the different people I get to meet in my role and those relationships we build; plus, no two days are ever the same. My favorite cocktails would be either a simple Old Fashioned or any Tiki drink.

Seth Williams
I started with homebrewing over 12 years ago with my old band’s drummer. Quickly discovered people are more likely to try your experimental beer than listen to your experimental music. About 2 and half years after homebrewing I got a job in the brewing industry and worked my way up from the packaging line into the brewhouse. I brewed beer and eventually whiskey washes in Texas for 8 years before moving to Florida where I transitioned to distilling. My favorite part of my job is having a hand in the entire process from start to finish and being lucky enough to get to make something I actually enjoy. my favorite cocktail is a tie between the Manhattan and the Boulevardier.

My background is mostly in mixology, which inspired me to learn to make spirits from scratch. My favorite part of my job is being able to make something with my own hands that people really enjoy. My favorite Dark Door cocktail is the Blood Tai.

I got my start working in a few restaurants just as general wait staff but Mixology has always fascinated me. The best part of my job is being able to interact with people and test out new cocktails behind the bar. My favorite cocktail is the Floradora.
